Dato' Lee Chong Wei no1 badminton player finally arise to beat Lin Dan no 2 badminton player 21-16, 21-16 straight set on Swis Open recently.
This glorious victory is also follow by mens double from Malaysia, Keat-Tan Boon Heong who defeat Denmark double players Martias Boe-Carsten Mogensen To win with 21-14, 21-18.
Reigning World No 1 Datuk Lee Chong Wei and archrival World No 2 Lin Dan of China are facing it off again, this time at the Swiss Open Super Series final at the St Jakobshalle indoor arena in Basel, Switzerland.
In the semi-final played early today, Chong Wei, the tournament's first seed, took 51 minutes to overcome an unseeded but stubborn Danish, Jan O. Jorgensen.
Chong Wei won the first set 21-12, lost the second 20-22 but regain the rhythm that made him a world class player in the rubber set, sending the Danish home with a parting 21-9 thrashing.
The victory put Chong Wei on the path of Lin Dan, the fiery Chinese shuttler who beat him at the All England a week ago.
Lin Dan is no match for countryman and third-seeded Chen Jin who bowed out 13-21 and 14-21 in 44 minutes in the other semi-final match.
Lin Dan denied Chong Wei the All England title on March 8 in straight sets of 21-19, 21-12.
The two will enter the arena at 7pm Swiss time or 2am Malaysian time.
Chong Wei lost the last three encounters with Lin Dan -- at the Beijing Olympics; China Open; and All England.
Meanwhile, in the men's doubles, second-seeded and World No 6 Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong will have the chance to end their two-year title drought when they marched into the final after beating China's Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng 23-21,18- 21, 21-14 in 56 minutes.
They will be up against World No 4 Mathias Boe-Carsten Mogensen of Denmark who beat the South Korean pair of Lee Yong Dae-Shin Baek Choel.
It will be an all-China final in the women's singles between two unseeded players, Wang Yihan and Jiang Yanjiao while in the women's doubles, third-seeded Lee Hyo Jung-Lee Kyung Won of South Korea will take on China's Du Jing-Yu Yang.
In the mixed doubles, second-seeded Lee Yong Dae-Lee Hyo Jung of South Korea will play Zheng Bo-Ma Jin of China.
